Our client is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a growing engineering team building modern, scalable systems. The group is currently C++-heavy, and they are looking to strengthen their Python capability to support new services, data integrations, and internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI preferred).
2. Build and optimise data integration pipelines and internal tooling.
3. Collaborate with C++ engineers to evolve wider system architecture.
4. Contribute to system design, performance improvements, and scalability.
5. Work cross-functionally to deliver clean, secure, and maintainable code.
Requirements
6. Strong professional experience with Python.
7. Experience with FastAPI or similar modern frameworks.
8. Background in data integration, ETL workflows, or service-to-service data flows.
9. Good understanding of backend architecture, API design, and distributed systems.
10. Exposure to C++ environments is beneficial but not required.
11. SC clearable.
Desirable
12. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
13. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
14. Knowledge of data processing technologies or asynchronous systems.
15. Understanding of security best practices and Agile development.
