Account Manager - Freelance - January to May 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to join No Woman No Try at a pivotal moment in its growth, as we scale our commercial work and partnerships to help change the future of women’s rugby.
We are looking for an experienced, agency-side Account Manager who thrives in client-facing roles, loves running campaigns end-to-end, and wants to apply their skills to meaningful work in women’s sport.
We are looking for someone passionate about women’s sport and ready to make an impact to join the team this January.
Title: Account Manager (Freelance)
Contract: January - May 2026 (5 months)
Location: Remote-first, with one day per week in London (preferred)
Rate: Up to £250 per day (based on experience)
Time commitment:
* January - March: 3 days per week
* April - May: 4 - 5 days per week
No Woman No Try is the first independent women’s rugby documentary on a major streaming platform. Since the landscape of women’s rugby has grown, No Woman No Try has grown with it. We are now an independent digital-born social media publisher dedicated to women’s rugby around the world.
The next step is to further grow the game, focusing on new initiatives through 2026 that will propel women’s rugby to new heights.
With new commercial projects confirmed for 2026, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Account Manager to be central to the next phase of women’s rugby. To partner with our exciting new clients, play a big part in the development of commercially successful relationships and manage interactions with those clients, seeing first-hand our projects come to life.
The Role:
As Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind exceptional client relationships and seamless project delivery. You’ll work closely with our founder to deliver new client projects, ensuring the delivery of campaigns from brief to launch, ensuring the work is strong, the process smooth, and the clients delighted.
You’ll manage high-value accounts, oversee budgets and timelines, spot opportunities to grow relationships and recommend the best course of action.
You are capable of developing outline campaign plans and have experience in managing event production, while accurately scoping projects to deliver to targets and budgets, for our internal and external teams.
Your Experience:
* You have at least 3 - 4 years of experience gained within a client-facing agency role, with experience in content delivery and event production.
* You have experience ensuring project objectives are delivered seamlessly, as someone who enjoys rolling your sleeves up to manage projects end-to-end, with a real flair for outstanding organisation and project planning.
* You have a true passion for working with brands and creating new propositions within women’s sport.
Your Strengths:
* You are excellent at managing budgets and finance.
* You are a natural relationship builder with the gravitas to quickly enable trust, rapport and respect.
* You have experience writing briefs.
* You have a passion for women’s sport and being at the forefront of its progress.
* You can lead and manage multiple accounts/briefs at any one time.

About No Woman No Try:
No Women No Try, started as a social media movement #IAmEnough, born from the social media trolling of female rugby players in 2020. The hashtag was created to challenge the narrative that women do not belong in sport or in rugby.
The documentary evolved from the global online support for #IAmEnough, with the aim of sharing female athletes’ stories with the world and inspiring the next generation.
No Woman No Try was released on Amazon Prime in 2022. The first and only women’s rugby documentary on a major streaming platform, showcasing that female rugby players must overcome their greatest challenges off the pitch, battling inequality to reach the highest levels of sport.
Since its release, the landscape of women’s rugby has changed dramatically across the UK and around the world. Teams are selling out stadiums, achieving record-breaking national attendance records, and the sport’s most-followed athlete is a female 7s star, Ilona Maher.
The landscape of women’s rugby is changing, and now No Woman No Try has grown with it.
