About the Company
You’ll be working within a local authority children’s services department undergoing positive change, focused on strengthening practice, improving outcomes, and retaining experienced social workers through realistic caseloads and better support.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake timely, high-quality statutory assessments within Referral and Assessment.
* Manage a varied caseload, balancing risk, safeguarding, and proportionate intervention.
* Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective information sharing and decision making.
About You
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
* Recent experience within a statutory Referral and Assessment or Duty and Assessment team.
* Confident managing safeguarding thresholds and statutory timescales.
