Our Client, Oldham Council, is seeking an Adult’s Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team.
This is a Hybrid Working Role!
Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour!
Responsibilities of this role:
* Provide practice leadership and supervision to social work and support staff
* Ensure lawful, high-quality practice under the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding legislation
* Oversee complex and high-risk cases, offering guidance on risk, capacity, and best-interest decisions
* Support work allocation, workflow, and performance management
* Promote effective multi-agency working across health, housing, and partner services
* Quality‑assure casework, recording, and statutory timescales
* Deputise for the Team Manager and contribute to service improvement
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
* Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
