Referment is partnering with a fast‑growing, high‑performing business to hire a People & Finance Administrator, a pivotal, hands‑on role sitting at the heart of both HR and finance operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in structured environments, and wants to play a key role in keeping a business running smoothly as it scales.


The role

You’ll be the backbone of day‑to‑day operations across both people and finance, ensuring everything runs accurately, compliantly, and efficiently.


On the Finance Side, You’ll

* Process supplier invoices and manage approvals
* Support payroll coordination
* Track expenses and maintain accurate financial records


On the people side, you’ll

* Manage employee records and documentation
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes
* Handle employee queries relating to policies and payroll


You’ll also

* Maintain contracts and key business documentation
* Ensure compliance across internal processes
* Work across systems (including tools like Xero) to keep data clean and reliable
* Identify ways to improve workflows and reduce manual processes


What we’re looking for

* Experience in an administrative role spanning finance, HR, or both
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Comfortable working with data, systems, and processes
* Confident communicator who can manage internal queries effectively
* Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
