The job itself
The Head Teacher of Hook Church of England Primary School will provide strong, values led leadership, ensuring the Christian ethos of the school is at the heart of all that it does. You will set and sustain exceptional standards across every aspect of school life, creating a caring, inclusive and ambitious environment where every child can thrive.
Through thoughtful leadership, collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will nurture the school's Christian character, inspire staff, engage positively with families and the wider community; working closely with Edukos Trust to deliver exceptional education grounded in faith, care and opportunity.
You will have..
1. Successful experience of senior leadership in a school, with responsibility for culture, standards and improvement.
2. Experience of holding staff to account through clear roles, proportionate challenge and professional support.
3. A proven ability to lead teaching and learning, informed by evidence and high professional expectations.
4. Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and inclusion, including ambitious provision for pupils with SEND.
5. A secure grasp of safeguarding, health and safety and statutory duties.
6. The confidence to manage resources and budgets responsibly, ensuring value for money.
7. A commitment to collaboration across Edukos Trust, contributing to shared improvement and learning.
