Mental Health Youth Worker
Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people?
Do you have experience supporting individuals who find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships?
We are seeking practitioners to support pupils impacted by adverse childhood experiences on a 1:1 basis in schools across the Bristol area (BS16 Postcode). These roles are for the remainder of the Academic Year, with potential progression to a contract with the right school.
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, running activities and collaborating with class teachers to ensure appropriate support is in place.
This is a full-time position with full guidance and training provided. Opportunities for additional training are available.
This role is suitable for individuals with experience supporting pupils in school or alternative settings, but applications from those without experience will also be considered. Immediate start available for April 2025.
