Your new role
Reporting to a senior Director, you will be running the finance function for the Devon site. Your new job will involve :
1. Financial Management: Maintain bank records, prepare monthly accounts, yearly budgets, cash flow summaries, and manage payroll and tax reports.
2. Administrative Duties: Handlepany secretary responsibilities, manage healthcare/dental schemes, death in service schemes, and insurance cover.
3. Collaboration: Work with the Managing Director and other employees on energy procurement, financial constraints, and continuous improvement.
4. Human Resources: Manage staff scheduling, training, disciplinary procedures, and ensurepliance with employment and health and safety legislation.
5. Quality and Efficiency: Develop systems and procedures for operational efficiency, participate in quality audits, and promote ethical practices and corporate culture.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Professional Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with over 3 years in senior finance roles.
Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, tax laws, accounting standards.
High level proficiency Excel
7. Excellentmunication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and presentplex information clearly.
Experience of SAP or similar ERP beneficial
