One of the UK's leading geotechnical specialists, part of a major construction group, this well-established firm is experiencing sustained growth with a strong pipeline of national projects. With top-tier resources and long-term stability, they are seeking an Engineering Geologist to help deliver new and ongoing ground investigation contracts.
In this role, you will manage geotechnical investigations from planning through to delivery.
Your responsibilities include managing day-to-day site operations such as supervising field teams, liaising with subcontractors, overseeing borehole and trial pit logging, and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of ground investigation works.
This role is ideal for a Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer with a solid foundation in ground investigation, seeking progression opportunities to senior management and beyond.
The Role:
* Managing geotechnical contracts from planning to completion
* Overseeing site-based ground investigation works
* Ensuring health & safety, quality, and cost control
* Regular travel within the UK, expenses paid
The Person:
* Geotechnical/Geology background
* Practical experience in ground investigation and soil logging
* Full UK Drivers Licence - ESSENTIAL
