Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coaches to lead and supervise after-school sports activities for children. The coach will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging sessions that promote teamwork, physical fitness, skill development, and a positive attitude toward sports. Duties include ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants, encouraging inclusion, and fostering a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports sessions.
* Supervise and engage students during after-school club hours.
* Promote teamwork, discipline, and respect.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous coaching or sports instruction experience preferred (but not essential).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
* First aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* DBS (can be obtained through company)
Training & Development:
This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in sports coaching and working with children. School-based training will be provided, alongside hands-on experience coaching primary school pupils in a supportive environment
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
