This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable vet looking to take the next step in their career as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at our established Medivet Mill Hill practice to cover Maternity leave. Working 3 days a week (with a full-time equivalent salary of £60,000), you’ll lead a close-knit team comprising one experienced RVN and a dedicated VCA, both of whom are passionate about delivering outstanding care to pets and clients alike. Your leadership will help shape the future of the clinic — clinically and culturally — while still giving you time for personal growth, CPD and life outside of work. The mat cover will be to start in December for 12 months. You'll be based in a modern, well-equipped clinic featuring: 2 consult rooms Dedicated operating theatre Digital x-ray and dental facilities While you’ll manage general practice cases and routine surgeries, you’ll also benefit from direct support and referral pathways to Medivet 24-Hour Hendon, located just a few minutes away — ensuring your patients always have access to round-the-clock care when needed. This is a sole-charge role, You’ll also take part in a light weekend and on-call rota: 1 in 3 Sundays, 2 weeks of on-call annually, and just 2 bank holidays per year.
