We are seeking a full-time, permanent Reception Teacher to join our dedicated team in Hertfordshire from September 2025. This role is ideal for a confident and skilled practitioner committed to delivering outstanding early years education. Please note this position is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The Role: As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality early years curriculum that fosters curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, assess children’s progress, and work closely with families to support each child’s growth. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver stimulating and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. * Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs. * Create a warm, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being. * Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all children in your care. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school improvement. * Maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication. What We’re Looking For: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience teaching Reception or Early Years. * Proven track record of delivering high-quality EYFS teaching. * Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and excellent assessment skills. * Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment. * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. * A passionate, reflective practitioner committed to children’s holistic development.
