To support continued growth in the UK market, we are looking for a Key Account Manager who will take commercial responsibility for a defined territory.
This is a balanced role combining business development and account management. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while also developing and expanding relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both winning new business and building long-term partnerships. It is not a purely “new business hunting” role, nor is it solely focused on maintaining existing accounts.
You will operate as a key representative in the UK market, working primarily in the field through regular customer visits and strategic meetings, while collaborating closely with internal teams including marketing, inside sales and support functions.
Salary: £35-40K gross + commission + pension.
As Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a defined UK territory and build strong commercial relationships across multiple market segments.
The role:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B key accounts across the UK
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted sectors
* Conduct regular customer visits and strategic account reviews
* Identify opportunities for revenue growth, including upselling and cross-selling
* Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements with customers
* Develop structured account plans to support sustainable growth
* Balance short-term sales targets with long-term relationship development
* Manage the full commercial cycle from prospecting through to closing and follow-up
* Maintain clear pipeline visibility and accurate CRM reporting
* Plan and prioritise territory activity independently
* Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen market positioning and go-to-market initiatives
* Provide structured feedback and market insights from customer interactions
Your profile:
* You have previous experience in B2B field sales, key account management or business development
* You thrive in a small team where you bring your commercial creativity and drive.
* Proven experience in B2B field sales, key account management or business development
* Experience managing a sales territory with revenue responsibility
* Comfortable balancing new business development with existing account management
* Strong negotiation skills and consultative selling approach
* Structured approach to pipeline management and CRM reporting
* Professional and credible in customer interactions
* Interest in premium products, branding or presentation solutions is an advantage
