We are Kiltane, an Edinburgh based brand specialising in cashmere and dedicated to creating easy-to-wear timeless luxury for everyday living.
Kiltane is seeking a dynamic and creative Content & Social Media Specialist to act as a visual storyteller for our brand. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute a comprehensive social content strategy, creating engaging paid and organic campaigns with a focus on growing and nurturing our social communities across the UK, Europe and the US.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience managing social media for retail brands, ideally within the luxury fashion sector, and across all major platforms. You will have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of video and image production, and graphic design expertise, enabling you to lead content creation, drive follower growth, and manage community engagement effectively.
This is a permanent, full-time role (5 days per week), based at our Edinburgh head office. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
The role
Supporting the planning and delivery of insight-led social campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Creating and curating social content, paid and organic, ensuring it aligns with Kiltane's brand aesthetic and resonates with our audience.
Assisting with photography and video content for social, including attending collection and campaign shoots and capturing behind-the-scenes and in-the-moment content.
Managing day-to-day posting and scheduling across social platforms, with weekly content plans prepared for internal review.
Supporting affiliate and UGC initiatives by researching and liaising with creators who align with the Kiltane brand.
Monitoring fashion, cultural and platform trends, and contributing ideas to keep content fresh, relevant and on-brand.
Engaging with our social community through thoughtful interaction, working alongside the Customer Care team where needed.
Assisting in the design and production of print assets for in-store use and brand events.
Helping track and report on weekly social performance, including gifted seeding activity.
Developing an understanding of our audience; their behaviours, preferences and expectations, and applying these insights to content planning.
About you
Around 2 years' experience managing or supporting social media for a retail or fashion brand.
A strong visual sensibility, with some hands-on experience creating and editing imagery and video for social.
Comfortable using design and editing tools, with an eagerness to continue developing your skills.
Fashion-aware, detail-focused and keen to learn how a luxury brand communicates visually.
Organised, reliable and proactive, with the confidence to contribute ideas.
