Teaching Assistant
Vision for Education is currently recruiting passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants who are urgently needed to support Key Stage 2 pupils (ages 7–11) in primary schools across Swansea. These roles are offered on a flexible supply basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available, starting as soon as your onboarding process is complete.
These Teaching Assistant positions offer a varied day-to-day experience, including working with pupils in small groups and providing one-to-one support. While you will work across Key Stage 2, there will be a strong emphasis on supporting learners in Upper Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 5 and Year 6.
Your role will include:
1. Assisting pupils with classroom learning activities
2. Delivering targeted support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
3. Supporting children during outdoor activities and playtime
4. Collaborating closely with teachers and classroom staff
5. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What we are looking for in a Teaching Assistant:
6. Recent experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2
7. Ability to travel to primary schools within Swansea
8. A calm, patient, and supportive approach
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils
