Role Overview
This role provides hands‑on configuration expertise within Workday Recruiting to support agile delivery of Talent Acquisition outcomes. This role supports a large‑scale Talent Acquisition technology transformation delivered within the enterprise IT portfolio. The programme focuses on modernising Talent Acquisition platforms, processes and operating models through a combination of Workday Recruiting optimisation, AI‑enabled capabilities and digital automation. Delivery is organised around a product‑ and squad‑based agile model, with work structured across multiple, interdependent workstreams. Teams operate at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, HR Technology and IT, translating functional Talent outcomes into scalable, secure and compliant technology solutions. The successful candidate will have experience operating in complex IT delivery environments, with a strong understanding of Talent Acquisition or wider Talent functions, and the ability to balance pace, quality, risk and enterprise governance. This role requires experience delivering IT‑led HR or Talent technology projects and is not suitable for individuals with purely functional Talent Acquisition experience and no exposure to technology delivery or IT transformation environments.
What you will do
* Configure and optimise functionality within the Workday ATS Recruiting module.
* Support workflow, automation and efficiency improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to testing, release and deployment activities.
* Support agile delivery squads across Talent Acquisition technology initiatives.
* Collaborate with Talent Acquisition stakeholders, HR Technology teams, enterprise IT delivery teams and external vendors.
* Support delivery across Workday Recruiting optimisation, AI‑enabled capabilities and digital automation initiatives.
* Contribute to scalable, secure and compliant Talent technology delivery outcomes.
What you will have
* Hands‑on experience configuring business processes within the Workday ATS Recruiting module.
* Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and workflows.
* Experience with Paradox, HiredScore, Sana or Workday Extend is preferred.
* Experience working within agile IT delivery environments.
* Exposure to HR or Talent technology transformation initiatives.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration capability.
* Experience supporting testing, releases and deployment activities within enterprise IT environments.
