The role: Deliver 1 hour per week of Functional Skills Maths (Level 1) Deliver 1 hour per week of GCSE English Plan engaging, structured sessions adapted to the student's needs Provide patient, encouraging, and consistent support Track progress and feedback to Prospero Teaching as required The ideal candidate will: Hold a recognised teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) Have experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or GCSE English Be confident supporting post-16 learners Be reliable, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply) Why work with Prospero Teaching: £25-30 hourly pay Flexible, part-time tutoring opportunity Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Rewarding work making a real difference to a young person's education If you are a qualified tutor with experience in Functional Skills Maths and GCSE English and are looking for a rewarding, low-hours role, we would love to hear from you.
