This is a well-rounded hybrid role that offers exposure across both transactional finance and month-end reporting, making it a strong fit for someone who is part-qualified or early in their accounting career and keen to continue building practical experience. Youll be working closely with the Financial Controller and wider team, contributing to the day-to-day running of the finance function while also getting involved in reporting, controls, and ongoing improvements. What youll be doing Owning the purchase and sales ledger functions Assisting with both purchase ledger and sales ledger activities Preparing and reviewing client invoicing Daily ban reconciliation Supporting month-end close, including reconciliations and reporting prep Contributing to VAT returns and compliance requirements Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit processes Identifying areas for improvement and automation across finance processes What were looking for Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or currently studying Previous experience in a finance or accounting role Comfortable working across multiple areas of finance Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Confident using Excel and accounting systems Experience in a fast-paced or commercial environment would be beneficial, as would an interest in improving systems and processes.
