Intellectual Property Solicitor - Summertown, Oxford – Up to £105,000 + Benefits + Bonus
A well‑established, Legal 500‑ranked law firm with a thriving Corporate & Commercial team is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their Oxford office. This is a strategic growth hire – the firm is currently turning away IP work and is ready to invest in building out a dedicated IP offering. You’ll have the chance to lead and shape a new service line, working alongside respected lawyers and a strong client base.
Responsibilities
* Trade mark registration, portfolio management, and enforcement
* Copyright advice, licensing, and infringement disputes
* Design rights and protection strategies
* IP commercialisation – licensing, franchising, joint ventures, and R&D agreements
* IP aspects of corporate transactions and M&A
* Domain name disputes and online brand protection
* Cease and desist actions and litigation support

You’ll be
* Intellectual Property Solicitor 7+ years PQE in IP law (contentious and/or non‑contentious)
* Able to bring a client following or strong referral network
* Entrepreneurial, strategic, and ready to take ownership of a new offering
