Early Years Teacher of SLD and PMLD required for an SEN school in Islington!
Role Details:
* Teaching an EYFS class with 6 pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
* SEN Teacher or Primary trained Teacher with experience in EYFS is advantageous
* Sensory based Curriculum
* Focus on Speech, Communication, and social skills
* Working alongside two friendly learning support assistants (LSAs)
You will be:
* SEN Teacher with QTS, QTLS, or overseas trained equivalent
* Flexible, with the ability to use own initiative
* Experience in an SEN school or with ASD and SLD children is an advantage, but the school prioritizes good teaching skills - excellent training is available
* Supportive of practitioners with a passion for SEN but limited experience
* Patient, caring, and passionate about the job with strong self-belief
