Location: Normanton, WF6
Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Contract
Shift Pattern
o Shifts are any 5 from 7, all with 2 days off together
o Trunking/store deliveries
o Start Times Between: 1300 - 1700
✨Position Overview
The Best Connection are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client's well-established transport operation in Normanton.
o Store deliveries.
o Bay and tail lift deliveries.
o Driving Class 1 vehicles for general haulage.
o Driving assessment prior to shift, this includes manoeuvring and reversing so must be competent at this.
Pay Rates - C+E and Licence Required
o Class 1 - £16.63 - £27.32 per hour
o Overtime after 10 hours
o Days - 0400-1800 £16.63 per hour
o Nights- 1800-0400 £19.00 per hour
o Saturdays - £21.08 per hour
o Sundays - £27.32 per hour

✅ Requirements & Responsibilities
o Valid C+E (Class 1) licence with minimal experience but must pass a driving assessment.
o Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
o Good communication and teamwork skills
o Physically capable of assisting with unloading if required
o Reliable and punctual
o Safely complete local or distance deliveries.
o Assist with loading/unloading as required.
o Deliver goods with excellent customer service.
o Adhere to health & safety standards and driving regulations.
