We are seeking an experienced IT support professional to play a key role providing IT support at St. Edwards. The Senior IT User Support Officer is responsible for overseeing the 1st line IT support staff and ensuring that the highest levels of customer service and IT support are maintained. The role will involve providing IT support across the school, supporting staff, pupils, and operational departments, ensuring the high performance of the IT helpdesk function, including ticket management, reporting, and service improvement. They will contribute to the reliability and performance of hundreds of devices (desktops, laptops, tablets and printers) across the school as well as maintain key systems such as Active Directory (on-premise and Azure), SCCM, Intune, AV systems, and cloud telephony, impacting the wider IT infrastructure. They will also play an important role in the successful delivery of critical school operations, particularly exams and events, requiring IT services and contribute to IT projects and system implementations, supporting continuous improvement and modernisation of IT services The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of IT systems infrastructure and general user applications, in addition to good working knowledge of systems configuration and printer and hardware support. Experience with MS Office 365 and Windows 10 (or later) operation systems and working knowledge of Active Directory, both on Premise and Azure and working knowledge of SCCM are equally important.
