Job Purpose:
The HR Advisor delivers a high-quality, people-focused service across NAAFI, acting as the first line of support on all HR activity. Offering practical, coaching-led advice, the role ensures consistency, fairness, and compliance with policy and employment law. With a proactive, solutions-focused approach, the Advisor supports effective people processes and enhances the colleague experience throughout the colleague lifecycle.
We are looking for an invidual to work circa. 25 hours per week, work pattern can be discussed at interview.
Job Description
* Leading the first line HR support service via email, telephone and within internal systems which are in line with policies, processes and business strategy.
* Support and coach managers and colleagues with general day-to-day HR issues, including, but not limited to, employment queries, HR policies and practices, grievance and disciplinary support and advice.
* Lead on recruitment activity from advertising, selecting to making offers, on-boarding,activity tracking and ensuring all related administration is complete.
* Supporting the maintenance of HR policies, processes and principles in line with legal compliance and business changes
* Assist in the identification of learning and development opportunities as well as the delivery methods and plans, facilitating internal mobility.
* Compile, track and analyse HR metrics to address challenges and spot opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to the HR Manager
* Champion positive colleague experience, by providing HR solutions that enhance all aspects of the colleague lifecycle.
* Maintaining HRIS system and ensure data is accurate and up to date,
* Support the HR Manager with all related HR activity and projects.
* Undertake any other duties as may be appropriate and required.
