Key Responsibilities: -Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure conformity with engineering drawings and specifications. -Manage incoming inspection and metrology activities, ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the working area. -Develop and enhance standard inspection protocols to meet quality management standards. -Qualify equipment systems through Gauge R&R. -Utilise best available techniques and tools to optimise inspection methodologies. -Collaborate with production and quality engineers to address any quality issues related to component metrology. -Oversee the calibration programme for measurement equipment used within the plant.
