Maintenance Engineers - Food Manufacturing Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire £40,000-£45,000 + Overtime Rotating Days 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays We are recruiting 1 x Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer and 1 x Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist food manufacturing site in Chipping Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a niche milling operation - the only one of its kind in the area - offering excellent training, long-term stability, and genuine progression into senior engineering roles. You'll be joining a close-knit engineering team, currently 2 engineers strong, with plans to grow to 5+ engineers within the next 6-12 months, creating clear development pathways into leadership positions. Key Responsibilities Planned and reactive maintenance across food production machinery Reducing breakdowns through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance Machinery installations and project work Working on: Separators, grinders, conveyors, elevators, washers, rollers, baggers AC/DC motors, PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens), sensors, relays Belts, chains, bearings, gearboxes ? What We're Looking For Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer Minimum 3 years' hands-on engineering experience Electrical role: 17th or 18th Edition qualification required Food/FMCG manufacturing background preferred (but not essential) Strong fault-finding ability and proactive mindset ? Training & Progression Full on-site training due to specialist machinery and processes Progression into Senior Engineer roles as the team expands Package & Benefits Multi-Skilled Mechanical: £40,000 (flexible for the right candidate) Electrical Engineer: £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate) Overtime paid at 1.25x weekdays / 1.5x weekends Pension scheme 24 days holiday + bank holidays Stable rotating day shifts ?
