Senior Radar Analyst

We are seeking Senior Radar Analyst to join a global defense organisation in their Research & Development team.
This role will focus on analysing radar and related systems, developing new radar design concepts, and modelling current and next-generation radar technologies to support system performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop mathematical models of radar and radar sub-systems using MATLAB, Simulink and Mathcad
* Analyse radar system performance and produce technical reports
* Design and develop digital signal processing algorithms
* Provide design data and technical support to hardware and software teams
* Support validation and testing of developed systems
* Work closely with suppliers and technical partners to ensure performance targets are met
* Contribute to the development of new radar systems and technologies
* Prepare and present technical material to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
* Experience with MATLAB and Digital Signal Processing
* Knowledge of radar or related fields such as sonar, communications, or image processing
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to deliver technical work on time and within budget
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally
Desirable Experience
* Pulse Compression, Doppler Filtering, CFAR or radar detection techniques
* Radar video/image processing, tracking or phased array radar
* Embedded software, Linux or FPGA development
* RF, antenna or radar electronics
* Programming experience in Python or C/C++
