Role Description
This is a full/part-time, on-site Assessor role based in Birmingham. The Assessor will evaluate and support learners in achieving their Health & Social Care, CYP and Leadership and Management qualifications, ensuring high-quality delivery of training and progression monitoring. Daily responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, providing feedback and support, and liaising with learners, employers, and key stakeholders to ensure a positive experience and compliance with all standards.
Qualifications
Experience in assessing and evaluating Health & Social Care qualifications, with knowledge of relevant standards and procedures.
Strong organisational and time management skills for planning assessments and tracking learner progress.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with learners, employers, and colleagues.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for maintaining records and documentation.
Relevant Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, or equivalent) and professional experience in the Health & Social Care sector.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site setting.
A passion for education and professional development in the Health & Social Care industry.
