Come and join Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust as a Band 3 Support Time Recovery Worker at South Kent Coast Community Mental Health Team covering Dover, Deal and Folkestone.
We need compassionate individuals with strong communication and organisational skills.
Our service focuses on promoting recovery for those people diagnosed with severe and enduring mental ill health. We provide comprehensive multi‑disciplinary services and work closely with local specialist mental health teams (e.g. Early Intervention Service, Home Treatment Teams, MIMHS), tertiary service providers, primary care, Kent Police, local statutory and non‑statutory agencies, service users & carers.
Core Responsibilities
* Visiting people at their own home as required.
* Completing Dialog plus assessments by telephone or in person.
* Monitor and report on the mental state of service users.
* Provide support to the service user, and identify their needs.
* Work closely with occupational therapists and assist nursing staff with the effective functioning of a depot/clozapine clinic that will include well‑being checks.
* Opportunity to run recovery activities with Occupational Therapists.
Requirements
* Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
* Must have access to a car/vehicle for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
* Compassionate and strong communication and organisational skills.
