Senior News Video Producer (Content Hub)
We are looking for a Producer to lead our Content Hub video operation, setting strategy and KPIs with Editors/Video Leads and managing a diverse team with inclusion and wellbeing at its core. This role is home & hub linked to our Canary Wharf hub, so you must be located in or around London. You will be covering a Sunday - Saturday rota between 6am - 11pm, so flexibility is key.
About This Role
Reporting directly to the Video Lead, you will be overseeing full video production from planning to distribution, ensuring platform optimisation, workflow efficiency, and quality compliance. You’ll also be working hand‑in‑hand with journalists to help shape breaking news coverage, craft standout original and affiliate content, and harness AI tools to elevate storytelling and audience impact. The successful candidate will be a people leader (managing a Video Editor, Social Video Producer and a Videographer) who fosters a high‑performance, trusting culture through fair policies, clear expectations, real‑time feedback and visible change leadership.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
We’re looking for an experienced video production lead with a strong track record in fast‑paced content creation and distribution and the ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities and react quickly to breaking news events. You’ll lead by example with high‑level skills in all technical aspects of video creation, including filming, editing and using the Adobe Suite. Being an established, people leader you’ll build a high‑performance, trusted team through clear communication, feedback, development, and change leadership is key. You’ll also be skilled at creating original content aligned with audio‑video KPIs and able to adapt to changing business and technology needs with ease. News‑room experience and solid knowledge of media law are a must.
