At our Leicester facility, we design and manufacture chemistrybased sterilisation monitoring systems used across global healthcare. This Warehouse Supervisor role is integral to supporting our four strategic pillars: Operational Effectiveness, ZeroDefect Manufacturing, Delivering the Perfect Order, and becoming an Employer of Choice.
WORKING PATTERN
1. Mon-Thu: 08:00-16:30
2. Fri: 07:00-12:45
(37.5 hours per week)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
3. Lead the daytoday operation of the Warehouse & Distribution function, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of all inbound, internal, and outbound materials.
4. Maintain inventory integrity and traceability through accurate ERP transactions, effective stock control processes, and disciplined adherence to FIFO/FEFO.
5. Ensure warehouse activities fully comply with the site Quality Management System.
6. Drive a strong HSE culture through safe systems of work, hazard identification, MHE compliance, and proactive risk management.
7. Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse colleagues, supporting skills growth, engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
8. Identify opportunities to enhance operational flow, space utilisation, and efficiency through continuous improvement and Lean principles.
9. Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs, supporting the site's commitment to operational excellence and perfectorder performance.
10. Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Logistics to ensure smooth and reliable material flow supporting production demands.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materialhandling leadership role within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes including goodsin, goodsout, stock control, and ERP transactions.
Valid Fork Truck License (desirable Reach Truck).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build positive working relationships at all levels.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Experience with Lean tools or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
A full clean UK driving licence (desirable).
