SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (ASC Support)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role supporting a child in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), starting Monday 3rd November.
As a 1:1 SEN TA, you will:
Provide tailored support to help the child access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Implement strategies to support learning, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow personalised learning plans.
Create a positive, nurturing, and structured environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience supporting children with ASC and/or additional needs.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school setting.
A genuine passion for making a difference in a child’s educational journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
