About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Pastoral Manager to lead the development, monitoring, and enhancement of our Alternative Learning Provision. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. You will work alongside dedicated staff to ensure students with behavioural and SEMH needs receive tailored support, develop resilience, and achieve personal and academic success. Essential Requirements A Degree PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification). SENCO qualification (or willingness to obtain it). Monitor student progress and outcomes in the provision and implementation of interventions. Create and maintain a culture of high expectations and student engagement. Support students to reintegrate into mainstream education where appropriate. Develop, lead and evaluate re-engagement and behavioural intervention programmes. Maintain accurate records of student interventions and outcomes. Analyse performance data and identify trends for continuous improvement. Promote safeguarding and child protection in line with the school's policy. Participate in admissions, assessments, and transition activities.
