This is a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant opportunity. The school are looking for someone to support a small group of children who display challenging behaviour and have social, emotional mental health needs. Experience with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and a teaching assistant with experience in a similar position is suitable for this SEN Teaching Assistant role. The position begins ASAP in Oxford.
The Primary school would ideally like to meet candidates who have a degree and who have some experience working with Special Educational Needs e.g. Autism, ADHD, dyslexia. The children can present challenging behaviour so will require someone with experience and confidence to control and calm them. The SEN Teaching Assistant position will entail a range of responsibilities and will offer amazing experience for the teaching assistant appointed.

There are SEND children within each class and as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will support their individual needs. The needs include ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, global delay, SEMH, physical and behavioural challenges. Experience working with one or more of these is ideal for this role.
