An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse to join an established team at Petersfield Community Hospital.
The Community Mental Health Team is focussed on delivering a recovery service for clients with severe and enduring mental health issues. We support our staff in developing their clinical skills in attending post graduate training such as physical health and nurse prescribing.
The Bordon and Petersfield Community Mental Health Team operates between the two sites, the main team base being Petersfield Hospital with a smaller base at Chase Hospital in Bordon and some working in the Havant Area. The team is well known for being approachable and open. We support each other and have developed a culture of honesty and integrity where problems are resolved quickly.

Consideration will be given for the right candidate to be supported in development to Band 6 competencies.
Due to the rural nature of Petersfield and Bordon a car driver is essential with access to own car.
Please note this post is part time - 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* The Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner will work as a core member of the Community Mental Health Team to co-ordinate the care of a complex caseload of service users, supervising Band 5 Community Practitioners and Band 3 Community HCSW's where appropriate.
* Working under the supervision of the Deputy Team Manager/Team Manager the practitioner will formulate care and risk management plans in accordance with identified need and ensure that these are recovery focussed and developed in collaboration with the service user and where appropriate their relative and carer.

Salary
£38,682 to £46,580 a year. Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata.
