Job Title: Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day onwards
Start Date: Immediately
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher to work in secondary schools across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are comfortable managing a classroom while ensuring learning continues in the teacher’s absence.
The role is well suited to experienced Cover Supervisors, Supply Teachers, Unqualified Teachers, or graduates looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher in a secondary school, you will supervise lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 during teacher absences. Work will already be prepared, and your role will be to ensure students remain focused, manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects in secondary school classrooms
* Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
* Support students where required during lessons
* Provide feedback to teaching staff following the lesson
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people or within a secondary school setting is desirable
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Confidence supervising groups of secondary-aged students
* A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
