A fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start their career in accountancy. Working within a well-established, friendly firm of Accountants, you will take on responsibility for a range of accounts support and administrative duties including:

* Sorting and filing account management information
* Assisting with production of monthly accounts packs
* Answering telephone calls and directing calls to the correct staff member
* Filing and posting invoices
* Answering supplier queries
* Setting up payments to HMRC and suppliers
* General administration duties as needed

The firm does not need previous experience within accountancy, and welcomes applications from school / college leavers. They would also be keen to hear from those with previous office experience (doesn't have to be accountancy based) who would like to work towards a career within accounts. They are ideally looking for someone with a meaningful interest and enthusiasm for starting an accountancy career.

You will be working a 35 hour week, in office. The firm offers study support for AAT, an opportunity to learn from experienced senior accountants and and good possibilities of future progression.
