Assistant Operations Manager Cleaning & Security Contracts - Ireland Full-time | Permanent Horizon Property Support (HPS) is recruiting an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee Cleaning and Security contracts across the island of Ireland. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary (£30,000-£35,000), £4,800 car allowance, and excellent benefits. You'll lead and develop site teams, ensure high-quality service delivery, and build strong client relationships within a fast-growing facilities services organisation. Find out more about us at www. h-psltd.com Key Responsibilities Manage aspects of operational delivery across assigned contracts Lead, inspire, and develop site teams to consistently meet performance targets Provide operational support including absence management, discipline, grievance, and recruitment Act as a role model, demonstrating behaviours aligned with Horizon Property Support values Drive employee engagement through regular communication, coaching, and development Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual requirements and customer expectations Maintain sufficient levels of trained, licensed, vetted, and competent staff at all times Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, responding effectively to issues and requests Complete risk assessments, site evaluations, monthly performance reports, and billing/payroll schedules Skills, Qualifications & Experience Checkable personal history (education, employment, travel, and unemployment) Previous experience in a similar operational management role, ideally within facilities services Valid PSA and/or SIA licence (training and accreditation can be supported if required) Full, valid driving licence Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service focus Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities Proven experience leading and managing teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment Salary & Benefits Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Car allowance: £4,800 per annum Family health plan after 3 months Perkbox employee discounts Opportunity to work with blue-chip clients Job security and long-term career progression within a growing organisation
