About You
Got the skills, the know‑how, and a passion for your trade?
What we’re looking for:
* A minimum of a relevant Level 3 Plumbing qualification
* Real world industry experience
* Experience in either mentoring colleagues, training apprentices or simply with a passion to pass on your knowledge to others
* Ability and willingness to learn the skills to plan and deliver hands‑on, innovative plumbing lessons that keep students engaged
* Ability to track, assess, and support student progress, planning interventions to help every learner succeed
* Be someone who will model professionalism and high standards in all environments
Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval). Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
