Personal Assistant – Support for Garry
Garry is in his early thirties and lives independently in his own home. Several years ago, Garry sustained a traumatic brain injury following a road traffic accident. As a result, he requires structured support with planning, organising, budgeting, shopping, and managing day‑to‑day household tasks.
Garry is a positive and joyful individual who thrives on encouragement and gentle motivation. While he enjoys engaging with others and has a warm, upbeat nature, he can struggle with low motivation and benefits from consistent prompting to complete tasks and maintain routines. The role involves supporting Garry in his daily activities, which may include accompanying him to the gym or other appropriate outings that promote wellbeing and independence.
Key responsibilities include providing person‑centred support, assisting with care planning, maintaining routines, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the case manager.
