Overview
Energy & Water Program Lead for the UK, embedded within the Engineering function, leading local deployment of a Europe-wide initiative to reduce energy and water usage across six Refresco sites. This role collaborates with the European Engineering Team to identify, design, and implement practical efficiency initiatives that reduce energy and water consumption and drive continuous improvement. Ideal for an experienced Utilities Manager with a passion for sustainability. This is a hybrid, Monday to Friday role covering UK sites.
Duties
* Lead the UK Energy & Water Program: drive implementation of energy and water saving strategies with local teams to identify and realise opportunities.
* Collaborate Across Europe: engage with the European expert network to share best practices and shape continental strategies.
* Partner with Plant Teams: work with plant managers and site teams to roll out tailored energy and water saving initiatives.
* Deliver Projects: lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
* Analyze & Report: monitor progress, provide actionable insights, support ESOS compliance and benchmarking.
* Coach & Train: serve as a subject matter expert and empower teams with knowledge and tools for sustainable operations.
* Champion Innovation: continuously seek new technologies and methods to optimise energy and water usage.

About The Role
As the Energy & Water Program Lead for the UK, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our environmental sustainability agenda. Embedded within the Engineering function, you will lead the local deployment of a strategic European initiative to reduce energy and water usage across all UK operations. This is a highly collaborative and visible role, interfacing with local plant teams, national business unit leaders, and a network of European engineering experts. Your mission will be to identify, design, and implement practical solutions that improve efficiency, reduce consumption, and drive continuous improvement in resource management. Success will require strong technical expertise, project management, and a proactive mindset. You will be empowered to lead change, shape sustainability strategies, and make a measurable impact on our environmental footprint locally and across Europe. About You
* Engineering degree: Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial, or related field
* 10+ years of experience in energy and water management, ideally within bottling, manufacturing or similar industries
* Technical expertise: deep knowledge of energy and water saving technologies and sustainability frameworks
* Strong project management: able to lead initiatives across multiple stakeholders and geographies
* Data-driven mindset: skilled in using data and analytics to drive decisions and performance
* Excellent communicator: fluent in English and comfortable working across teams and cultures
