This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Derry but traveling to projects across Northern Ireland. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs throughout the entire contract duration. Putting together sub-contract packages, Providing accurate cost planning and forecasts. Day-to-day tasks include cost control, cost reporting, regular site visits to monitor progress, and working closely with project managers to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management
* Proficiency in preparing and managing BOQs
* Ability to develop and execute Cost Planning and Cost Reporting initiatives
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with stakeholders
* Proficiency in using relevant software tools and systems for cost estimation and reporting
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Experience in residential and commercial construction projects is advantageous
