Overview
We are hiring for the role of Helpdesk Operative. You’ll be the first point of contact for internal departments and the switchboard, logging and assigning service requests, managing the Helpdesk inbox, and providing administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
 * Handle incoming calls and emails, providing a high level of customer service
 * Log and assign service requests; maintain the Helpdesk inbox
 * Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to the client and ad hoc reports
 * Maintain formal and informal communication with Trust managers related to services activities/working group
 * Develop good working relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
 * Provide administrative support and advice for Hard FM staff where required
 * Performance monitoring of the system against reactive maintenance
 * Collation and management of digital and paper records and filing in line with the Sodexo Quality system
 * Ensure good communication channels are maintained
What You Bring (Qualifications)
 * Proven experience within a similar role
 * Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities
 * Aptitude for problem solving using a logical approach
 * Ability to work well under pressure
 * Ability to deal with people at all levels
 * Team player
 * Awareness of Health & Safety and general legislative matters
 * Attend external and internal courses as required
 * Computer literate; good verbal and written communication skills; good mathematical skills
