We are now looking for an Assistant Team Manager for the Fostering Support and Development Team to commit to improving the lives of children in Medway.
At Medway, we provide exceptional care and support to children and young people in foster care. Our fostering service is the core of our mission, and we seek dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Team Managers to join our team.
Reporting to a Team Manager, the Assistant Team Manager will lead and manage a small team of social workers, creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Assistant Team Managers are not case holders; they deliver high‑quality supervision and support social workers in case management, ensuring best practice to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children.

Our Offer
* Market allowance of £3,000 per annum (payable in 12 equal instalments)
* Retention payment of £2,000 per annum (payable in April, following 2 years service in Medway)

About You
* Hold a recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree, PGC, CQSW, DipSW) and be registered with Social Work England
* Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
