Job responsibilities
* Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
* Provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting on care and updating care plans.
* Implement and monitor person‑centred care plans, undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and any concerns or complaints are escalated.
About you
* Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Maintain a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Other requirements
* DBS Disclosure check – the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
* Current UK professional registration.
