Offer description

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our office-based team with the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions. Besides having experience in business development, we are expecting you to have strong organisation, leadership and communication skills.

You will be held accountable for:

· Identifying new business opportunities

· Creating and implementing new strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities

· Building relationships with new and lapsed clients

· Maintaining and developing relationships with new clients

· Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients

· Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and positioning

Qualifications

· Previous sales experience with a proven track record

· Experience in improving systems and processes

· Experience in identifying and targeting new sectors and customers

· The ideal candidate will have some experience in one or more of the following sectors: Engineering, Hospitality, Catering, Medical, Retail sectors - Although not essential is preferred

Technical

· Strong sales and account management experience

· Negotiation, selling, influencing, organisational, presentational and other interpersonal skills

· Analytical skills; ability to use data from either a customer or industry and build rational and persuasive internal and external customer proposals.

· Strong Microsoft Office application skills, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience using CRM's

· Reporting results in a detailed yet succinct way

· Winning and maintaining new customers

· Account management

· Excellent influencing skills to be able to challenge personnel at different levels and with different cultural backgrounds

· Be able to build and sustain relationships

· Inter-personal skills to deal with customers, suppliers and colleagues on behalf of our group

· The ability to work under pressure

· Comfortable working on your own or as part of a team

Salary & Benefits Package

* £26,500-£30,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience) plus Bonus & Commission (uncapped) Scheme
