Location: West Bromwich area — Internal and external sales mix covering the Midlands area

Package: £35,000 - £42,000 + Bonus + Car. Mon – Fri Only

Recruiting: Internal Sales, External Sales, Business Development, Key Account, Account Management, Area Sales, Field Sales, Sales Negotiators, Sales Executives, Sales Representatives, Assistant Managers, Timber Specialists.
Responsibilities
* This role is a balanced mix of account management and new business generation.
* Interact with customers over the phone, by email and face to face; ask questions, understand projects, handle quotation enquiries, develop rapport, and upsell where possible.
* Proactively generate quotations, follow up, and convert them into orders.
* Work with fabricators, contractors, architects, designers, and end-users; communicate clearly to ensure correct products are ordered.
* Maintain high levels of customer service with attention to detail to sustain the company’s reputable service.
* Strong product knowledge of sheet materials and decorative panel products is desirable.
* Billing and purchasing responsibilities are included in the role.

Requirements
* Sales background within the builders merchants world.
* Knowledge of sheet materials / decorative panel products preferred.
* Experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders (fabricators, contractors, architects, designers, end-users).
* Clear communication, confidence in selecting the right product for each job, and attention to detail.
* Proactive, hungry sales professional who can work independently and as part of a team.
* Role may suit candidates with internal or external sales experience.
What to Expect
* Part office-based and partly external sales; mainly Midlands coverage.
* Mon–Fri workweek; local travel within the Midlands.
