Safety Advisor
Location: Glascoed, Wales, BAE Systems
Hourly Rate: Competitive
Duration: 12 months
Working Arrangements: 3 days on site per week
What you'll be doing
* Providing expert advice and guidance on safety compliance, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
* Supporting incident investigations and recommending preventative measures.
* Conducting audits, inspections, and safety briefings across operations.
* Collaborating with operational teams to embed safety into day-to-day activities.
* Supporting the delivery of SHE training and awareness programmes.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our safety performance.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a safety-focused role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or defence.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); working toward a Diploma or higher is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
