Overview
Senior Project Manager - retail installations. The role is based in Berkshire with a client involved in construction services for the retail, interior, event & exhibition sectors. The project manager will oversee production and installation activities for retail store builds, activations, rebrands, and related exhibits.
Responsibilities
* Lead project management for installations, de-rigs, re-fits, and related events across retail stores, head offices, exhibitions, and roadshows.
* Coordinate production activities with in-house teams (CAD, design, carpentry, welding, painting, props) and external installation crews.
* Manage materials and fabrication considerations, ensuring appropriate application of different materials and processes.
* Oversee on-site installation planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, and client communication.
* Collaborate with workshop and paint shop operations to align fabrication with installation timelines.
* Work with clients from diverse sectors and deliver projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong production experience and a solid understanding of materials and fabrication processes.
* Experience with spaces and installs, especially in retail environments, exhibitions, events, and roadshows.
* Background in related fields (e.g., film industry) is a plus if relevant to project requirements.
* Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through completion, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
