About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident Independent Investigating Officer to conduct thorough disciplinary and grievance investigations in line with internal policies and procedures. This role requires a professional with strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage sensitive and sometimes challenging subject matter with discretion and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange and conduct fact-finding meetings with all relevant individuals.
* Take accurate notes and maintain clear records of all meetings.
* Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with findings and conclusions.
* Present investigation outcomes at disciplinary hearings on behalf of management.
* Provide regular progress updates to HR Business Partners.
* Ensure all investigations are conducted in line with best practice and relevant guidance.
