Job Description:
The Reliability and Compliance Manager (EC&I) is a senior management role responsible for the strategic EC&I reliability, compliance, and plant integrity across the entire Bradford Upper Tier COMAH site. This individual will lead a dedicated team and oversee compliance with all EC&I-related COMAH regulations, while continuously improving EC&I reliability, ensuring long-term plant integrity, and managing maintenance and capital budgets effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. EC&I Compliance, Safety & Integrity: Ensure full compliance with all COMAH and regulatory requirements related to EC&I systems. Manage Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) in SAP. Drive timely completion of safety actions. Ensure plant integrity through inspections and maintenance. Oversee contractor inspections and follow-up. (25%)
2. Reliability Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis for EC&I failures, monitor asset performance, develop CAPEX plans, and improve plant availability. (15%)
3. Budget & Cost Management: Manage maintenance budgets, forecast needs, and ensure cost-effective service delivery. (10%)
4. Team Leadership: Support and develop the Reliability and Compliance team, oversee contractor work, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and build a high-performance organization. (20%)
5. Contractor & Project Oversight: Manage contractor performance, ensure inspection standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. (10%)
6. Maintenance & Shutdown Planning: Coordinate shutdowns, develop maintenance strategies, and ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities. (10%)
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical/EC&I Engineering or related discipline. Significant experience in senior engineering or compliance roles within high-hazard environments, preferably chemical or petrochemical. Strong leadership, asset integrity management, and SAP skills.
